Conversations You’ll Have With Old Friends After High School
High school has come and gone. It’s been 10 years since the last time you saw your friends, but it feels like yesterday. You’re all grown up now, with a family of your own and different schedules to keep. So how does this conversation go? What will you talk about? Will it be awkward or as comfortable as catching up on old times should be? If you visit the platform Charlie Eissa you can come across more interesting topics.
After high school is over for most people, there are many conversations that they have with their old friends at reunions or when they run into each other unexpectedly in town. Here are ten conversations that you’ll have with an old friend after high school:
-What’s your job like? What college did you go to?
-How many kids do you have (if any)? Where are they in school and what grade is each of them in?
-Do you live close by or has the old gang dispersed a bit over time, too busy with their own lives now to come back for reunions as regularly as before?
-Did anyone get married recently or divorced since high school graduation day? Does this person still date from that era, too. Who got engaged while we were all away at college but never made it down the aisle again once we returned home? Were there any breakups during those years apart where one party didn’t know about it until he saw her Facebook?
-What do you do in your free time? Whose kid is this?
-Who’s been having a baby, and what are the names of it/them?
-What was your last job before you retired (or if still currently employed, how long have you been at that company)? What do they make there or sell to get by in these days with such high unemployment rates around us all? Do they like their boss? What does he/she think about working for them now as opposed to when we were young and had our whole lives ahead of us back then without so much worry on our minds about money.
